Supporting the BC Halal Food Festival: A Showcase of Community Commitment

In line with our dedication to community service, 604 Donate and Junk It recently had the honour of being a sponsor for the BC Halal Food Festival. Held on June 22nd and 23rd, 2024, at Holland Park in Surrey, BC, this event is Western Canada’s largest Halal Food Festival, attracting over 70,000 attendees.

Our involvement went beyond sponsorship. Over the three days of the festival, our team worked tirelessly to ensure that Holland Park remained clean and welcoming for all attendees. We cleared over 30,000 pounds of junk, showcasing our commitment to environmental sustainability and community service. By working hand in hand with the event organizers, we demonstrated our ability to handle large-scale waste management efficiently and effectively.

Engaging the Community: Booth and Lucky Draw

At the festival, we also set up a booth to engage with the community directly. It was a fantastic opportunity to connect with festivalgoers, share information about our services, and promote our environmental mission. To add an element of fun and excitement, we conducted a lucky draw, with the winners announced on our Instagram page on July 5, 2024. The three lucky winners received cash prizes of $300, $200, and $100.

A Bright Future of Giving Back

Our participation in the BC Halal Food Festival is just one example of how 604 Donate and Junk It is committed to giving back to society. We believe that businesses are responsible for supporting their communities, and we are proud to play our part. Through our services, partnerships, and sponsorships, we aim to positively impact our environment and our community. Thank you to everyone who visited our booth, participated in the lucky draw, and supported us in our mission. Together, we can continue to promote sustainability and community wellbeing.
