Labour Surcharge

Frequently Asked Questions
How is you pricing structure?
Our rates are generally calculated by the amount of space your junk takes up in our truck, which we measure in terms of truck load size. However, disposing of heavier materials like aggregates, dirt, or concrete will incur additional fees to account for the extra disposal costs we incur.
Do you charge travel time and labour surcharge?
We aim to simplify our billing process as much as possible. As such, we do not charge for travel time. However, we apply a labor surcharge for any time spent on a job beyond the first 30 minutes. For instance, if a junk removal job takes 1 hour, you will only be charged for the additional 30 minutes. Our rate is $90.00 per hour for a team of two technicians, so the additional labor charge for half an hour would be $45.00.
Do you provide estimates over the phone?
Absolutely! Our sales team is skilled in assessing the load size from the pictures and details you provide. We’ll give you a straightforward quote with no hidden fees. If the pictures and information are clear, we can offer you a quote over the phone. If needed, we can also come to your location to provide an estimate.
What happens if the charges are higher than the provided estimate?
If our team underestimates the size of the junk or donation load, leading to charges that exceed the initial estimate, we accept full responsibility. We are dedicated to upholding the quote that the client has approved and will absorb any extra costs due to our miscalculation. We make sure to remove only the junk that the client has designated for disposal. Should the client decide to dispose of additional items, we will revise the quote to include these extra items.
Why are appointments booked in 1- or 2-hour timeslots?
Appointments are set in 1- or 2-hour time slots to account for potential unforeseen events like traffic delays, road incidents, or jobs that extend beyond the expected duration. This scheduling method gives us the flexibility to manage unexpected challenges while maintaining dependable service for all our clients.
